“It’s no use going back to yesterday, because I was a different person then.”

Alice grew up in the country side of Surrey in south England. Her and her older sister lived their with their father. Her older sister, Emily, is five years older than Alice and as such they share little in common besides their love for animals, each other and their father. When Alice was five her mother passed away leaving only a few memories of her. The most nominate memory is being given the book 'Alice in Wonderland'

Her father was a field researcher and he would take Alice out on his adventures telling her that the world was larger than it seemed. Alice loved her father very much and keeps all her field journals to date. He taught her about the earth and made her want to learn more about the planet that they lived on. Her older sister took on some of the responsibilities of their mother, allowing for Alice to play in the garden with her cat and document everything. Their father died of cancer when Alice was in high-school. There was little money to be had so her sister dropped out of college and became a baker. To this day she lives in Surrey urging Alice to pursue her dreams. They both live in the house they grew up in, with Alice's cat: Snowdrop. However Alice is very rarely home.

Alice's education lead her to a field position like her father. She spent a few years traveling around the world seeing different sites and studying them while working on her thesis and research. She's well known within a few different fields of geology.

Alice, by title, is a Mineralogist with a PHD in Mineral Geology, a Masters in Environmental Geology and a background in Historical Geology. She thinks that the history and health of the earth can explain how rocks form and grow and while it's been difficult within the field of study Alice has become a respected geologist in her own right.

Alice's hair is dark brown and long. She doesn't bother tying it up and instead compulsively tucks it behind her ear. She is 5' 8" with inquisitive hazel eyes. Her clothing choice is practical when she's out in the field: khakis and button downs. While teaching she's dressed as a professional in a suit or a skirt with a nice blouse.

Her posture is stern at times but her expressions can soften her presence. She holds herself with confidence and intelligence while her eyes usually shine with curiosity, intrigue and wonder. Alice has an English accent. Her sentences are often smooth and spoken as if reading poetry with a succinct sort of clarity. She doesn't smell like heavy perfumes but she does have rose oil that she lightly dabs on her wrists when she works in the field. Otherwise she ends up smelling like the wind or rain due to her time outside.

Alice is very smart but she is also very human.
